M.A., R.P., PHD. Registered Psychotherapist

Many individuals and couples come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by emotional disconnection, unresolved pain, and relational breakdowns—often rooted in trauma, anxiety, or life transitions. These struggles can erode trust, intimacy, and a sense of purpose.

You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. Together, we’ll explore the emotional and spiritual roots of your distress, uncover patterns that keep you stuck, and build pathways toward healing and reconnection. Whether through Emotionally Focused Therapy, Christian counseling, or architectural design for healing spaces, I offer a compassionate and structured approach to restoration.

Healing happens in safe, attuned relationships. I’m passionate about supporting your whole self—body, mind, and spirit—while walking alongside you to restore emotional safety, deepen connection, and renew your sense of identity. My goal is to help you experience peace, clarity, and lasting hope—whether you’re seeking healing within your relationship or doing the work as an individual.

I specialize in working with couples seeking reconnection and trust, individuals healing from trauma or grief, and families navigating emotional safety and communication. My approach is integrative, blending EFT, Gottman Method, Attachment-Based and Trauma-Informed therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Humanistic and Existential approaches, Strengths-Based and Solution-Focused strategies, and Christian counseling when desired.

Shannon believes that no one chooses to struggle, and that children are not “being difficult” — they are often lacking the skills they need to cope with what they’re experiencing. Therapy, in her view, is about building those missing skills and equipping individuals and families with tools that support long-term success.

She also believes that clients and families are the experts in their own lives. Her role is not to direct or dictate, but to walk alongside you, offering guidance, support, and strategies in ways that feel respectful, empowering, and aligned with your values.
